It looks like a hybrid between Homeworld, Master Of Orion and Supreme Commander. Sounds really neat. I'm going to get it, and I'll report as soon as I get my hands on it.

I'm enjoying it so far...though for some reason my capital ship keeps going back to my capital in the middle of fights...

I think starting my first game on a large galaxy with 8 players was a mistake though, prolly is better to start smaller until you get the hang of it.

I think he probably meant 8 different factions/races, whatever you wna to call them. I'm pretty sure its SP.

It's like Civilisation and Master Of Orion. There's no "singleplayer campaign", you just start in a universe and play

If this is Civilization in space with ridiculously beautiful graphics I'm buying it.

I heard you can play online with up to 10 players. True? How is that feasible because someone told me their first game lasted 8 hours??

True, I haven't played it much but it's not that a fast paced game. Multiplayer with lots of people can last for hours. I think that's why you can save multiplayer games.

I bought it as an impulse and it reminds me of Ascendancy which was a fething kick *** game for the Atari ST.

it depends, if you like the genre then YES

its like a good mix between masters of orion and homeworld, its nicely done, it has complexity but its easy at the same time, and the developers are planning to release constant updates to the game

so, if you have to pay 45€ for a game, this one is not a bad choice at all

Its no CIV.

Its more like Homeworld and GalCiv.

Its great took me 5hrs to beat a easy comp 1v1 in the smallest map :O

Multi player might be a bit hard considering how long it takes to win.

No single player but I think the community will be releasing campaign packs.


WARNING: GFX arn't **** hot but its pretty enough and immersive as ****.
