I played the mod a bit this afternoon, it feels like a mix of Battlefield and RO.
It seems like there are many missing sound files. Reloading with some weapons such as the US shotgun is completely silent.
The weapon switch system is kind of annoying, the selected weapon barely stands out from the others.
Reloads animation can sometimes be interrupted with other actions, and the reload will still be effective. On the other hand, sometimes the reload button doesn't work.

I'm assuming by "market" he meant the public. Free it may be, but that doesn't change the fact that cries for releasing it ASAP were deafening. Same can be said with Forgotten Hope II; while it's a free mod, people are clammoring for its release.

Uh... every time I try to run Insurgency it tries to give me a trojan and steam tells me that this game is unavailable and to try again later... Good thing my antivirus catches it every time it tries to give me a trojan.

Whew, good thing it's probably a false positive. That is assuming you downloaded it from a respectable mirror. If you didn't then get it elsewhere.

Is it just me, or does it look like there is not much difference with the mg's when they are either deployed on a wall, or just held from the hip? It doesnt seem to affect recoil at all, no matter what you do.

Nah, it's ok for short bursts but really starts jumping afterwards.

yeah now i never get under 50 fps with 1600x1200 8xMSAA 16xAF 
still the crashes are very annoying and the new sound for the ak is one of the worst i ever heard IMO
anyway, its a great mod that sometimes let me forget about RO

I haven't noticed any crashes since the patch. That isn't to say there won't be any, but it's been the longest stretch of uninterrupted playtime I've managed to get thus far, so they must have done something right. I'm also happy about my increased fps (an average of about 10fps higher).
I noticed that the ability to cap a zone with only one person is supposed to be slower than normal though, and it clearly isn't. The speed's constant regardless of how many people you have.
