yer and even if u dnt talk still have one wen i started out i didnt say much at all and soon ull be answering others wen they ask you a question thats all thats needed as long as u hear other not a big big problem apart from saying "yes" and "no"

Not true, at least not in pubs. One guy, from eastern europe by his accent, got so many flames and mocks due to his broken english he finally typed- ok ok, I got u guys, I will shut up.

I never understood insulting a guy because he's trying to learn your language.
That being said, I don't think you will find a serious clan which does not have a microphone requirement. If you think about it, this just makes sense; you need to be able to communicate instantly while performing other actions all at the same time. Typing/reading can get you killed in a clan match.
The chatter on VOIP during pub play is nothing like communication during a clan match, if that is what's turning you off. Also, most clans use TeamSpeak or another 3rd party product rather than the in-game VOIP.
Other clan benefits to having TS are the ease of communication during practice, ease of setting up scrims (we all know each other's TS channels), and ease of setting or changing server passwords for scrims and matches.
Without some sort of mic you can never fully participate.

I prefer receiving orders rather than give them. For the number of times I speak, my keyboard is doing a great job.
Oh, and I have this french accent (being a french canadian). I'm not ashamed, but it's not advantage.
But seriously, I don't want to buy a mic just because it needs one to be in a clan. I know that i'm not going to use it.

i guess if its just if u ever needed to answer back like "theres any enemy over there" or "yes ill go over there" or "im here"
it does get annoying we've had a few ppl have broken mics and even if your not planning to say much its quite hard without mics especially when you cant talk due to map loading or under fire etc
talkings generally faster as well

Nlogax looking for a teamplay oriented clan to have fun with and make some comrades. We mostly play infantry style maps, mostly German side clan, but we will play the Russian side on occasion.
A mic isn't mandatory but it helps. You could also use the game mic itself without spending any money.
heres a run down of what we look for:
The Type of players we are looking for:
.Players with a good attitude,the interest to play as a team
.Players that are mature in their play
.Players that want to be on a team
.Players with tactical ability
.noobs are welcome
.An interest in expanding or improving oneself for future competitions
.Players that want to have fun and are tired of being a server surfer
.We want players that want to go to matches, and eventually the RO Ladder
.Players that want to become more skillful than what they are now
.We want players that want to have fun, and be excited everytime they go play
.We play Rainbow six 3: Ravenshield also, as this game is optional from our main game we use it for play and to practice on, so we are also looking for players that would be open to improving their skills and playing this game as a coordinated team
.We also want players that are sick of the selfish, and childish crap on the servers
.We also want players who want to relax, and have fun
.players that want to be themselves team or no team
