Mare Nostrum Theme music (beta)

Hey, the melody at 00:35 and onwards sounds a lot like that old german song! I don't know the real name, but it was sung in Finnish with the name Liisa Pien (Little Lisa). Great theme, I really liked that "old song" touch in the middle.

Oh and I suggest you make a tune with the sound of bagpipes if you are thinking of having the Scots in game.. Just a request, only if you have the time to do so - that woud be great!

Hopefully on one of the maps I would like to have some bagpipe music playing (near spawn)...after reading War without Hate, one of the battles involving the 51st Highland regiment, the piper was playing as they moved into battle...he was killed by mortar fire, but the soldiers swore they could still here him playing as they fought on...I thought this could really add some atmosphere...but once the music is done we'll see how it works in game.

bravo chris, you are indeed a fine composer, arranger, and synthesizer-program-user-type person. Very fine indeed!

EDIT: some constructive criticism: in the initial trumpet solo, have the notes sustained longer, and have a short fade out so it doesn't sound like stacatto notes in the middle of a love-song type melody

I think the triangle (was it a triangele?) made it a bit to bright needs to be bit darker sounds. Everything else was great
