Actually I'm assuming it's accurate, I havn't hit the target out of 10 shots but I just figured that was because I'm not use to it yet.And how is the grouping? Is it way off from the sight?

heres some of my WW2 firearms:
1. M1 Garand (factory new)
2. Mosin Nagant 1943
3. K98 1940 BNZ (best K98 maker= steyer)
It looks like his barrel is about an inch too short. Either that or the receiver is not seated into the stock.
Looks like a Mosin parts kit grab bag from Tapco or Numerich is in order here.
Damn wished i lived in a country where buying guns like this was allowed!! Only gun i own is a 22. air rifle lol!!

We were using some FMJ ammo from the place I got the rifle from, but we only had ten rounds of it so it went FAST. For 20 shells of the FMJ it was $8.
I have heard of this before. I think that you need to look for the ammo labeled JS instead of IS which is what I think the light ammo is.That could also be why you had trouble hitting the target, a lot of new production stuff is under loaded for some weird safety reasons, or a lot of it doesn't match military spec, so it doesn't shoot to POA because it is different that what the rifle was sighted in with back in the day.
