Improving draw distance

Hi guys.

Great game, really enjoying it.

Does anyone know how to improve the draw distances? I've tried everything in the options and I can't seem to get it to improve.

There's nothing that ruins the immersion more than going into iron sights and having the textures of a bush or the roof of a house fade in so much.

It's even worse in the first level with the fences and stuff.

Just wondering if there's been an .ini fix for this yet or if there's some setting I've missed which sorts this out.

Every time i'm setting it at High ,defaults back at Normal

That's a very old UI bug. You're changing it but it doesn't matter.

Thanks for pointing it out. I've fixed this, and the change will take effect when the next patch goes out. The occlusion quality setting was working before as well but the text next to it was not correct.

The Occlusion Quality setting reduces the pop-in of meshes when you rotate the camera quickly or look around the corner for example. It is not tied to the draw distance - that is the LOD system.
