this game actually looks good, I enjoyed the earlier ones and think this series has potential if they would ever just give you non-linear control.

I only played the second one but I always had the impression that the game was way more non-linear than the typical stealth/shooter breed.
What Hitman game have you played that made you come to that conclusion?

Very silent assasin indeed! Oh, but anyway. I can't wait for bloodmoney. I really liked 1st, 2nd and 3rd Hitman.

You complain about it being linear and then you say you have to play it as it is supposed to be played...
The most interesting feature of Hitman is that you can chose whether you want to jump in guns blazing or if you want to use stealth.
I hope the new one gives you that freedom too. I heard its coming for current-gen xbox too!? If so I might get it if its good.

I found Contracts to be utterly crappy.

I loved part one and two though. I hope they manage to create more thrilling "Lee Hong Assasination" style missions though. Wasn't too fond of the columbian jungle in part 1 and the two level approach to the Japanese castle in part two, which I never ever was bale to finish as "silent assassin"...

I agree with you, Rattus. Hitman 3: Contracts was not as good as 1st and 2nd version. I liked to play contracts through 1 time but Silent assasin I have finished like 7 times.
