1. Remove kill count from the scoreboard.
KF is not Quake, where kill/death ratio is the main factor describing player efficiency. Support, who does welding usually is more important for team survival than one, who ignores welding shifts, does a lot of shooting and runs out of ammo in the middle of a wave.

1. Add to the scoreboard fields:
  • Amount of money currently player has
  • Weapons, that user holds
  • Total damage points dealt (as a replacement of a kill count)
  • Welding points
  • Healing points (dealt to teammates only)
So everyone can see, how much money each of his teammates have or where it was spent, to easily found out the retard-ones, who, for example, wastes

I agree, although I think the statistic displayed should be relevant to the perk, for example:

Medic: Healing points.
Support Specialist: Support kills (ie. enemies targeting another player, maybe only for the big guys) and welding points - although I'm unsure about the latter since it might promote pointless welding.
Sharpshooter: Head shots.

And so on.

Unfortunately no matter what you add to show, people will still treat it as a competition. "I have more heal points than you!", then someone's gonna endanger someone just so they can compete against the other Medic.
Also as someone else said, there'd be pointless welding as well.

I'd imagine, showing Welding points and the such will just promote people to do less useful things. Like welding a door because they want to show they welded the door the most; Rather than taking on the kills of specimens, to aid the team.

Even if you showed damage, it'd still promote competition... There, everyone'd probably go Demolitions and just spam grenades so they can get more numbers.

If anything, I'd support removing the kills/damage/heal/etc. points all together, removing competition of 'I have more--' and actually killing, for the team assistance.

Interesting idea of removing everything... I do think there are people o9ut there who don't care about kill count. When i go as medic or Support, I know that my kills aren't going to be as high. Same as if you're a sharpshooter. You should not have that many kills in later waves due to trying to aim for the bigger zeds.
However, i like the idea of having the scoreboard show different things, especially money and healing. They are the two main ones. See who is hoarding their cash and not helping the team. The healing points so that you can point out to certain players that they have not healed anyone. I have had matches, today even, where I heal everyone and no one but my brother heals me. Bloody annoying.

I think this would be a good change.

I would like to see how much damage i did instead of kills.
Also i like showing healing and welding to appreciate supports and medics more.
And also showing headshots.

It might be also better if instead of showing kills it shows how many kills of each zombie they got. Because Sharpshooters with crossbow usually get lower kills then the other classes ( maybe except for medic ) and if it shows how many sirens,FPs and Scrakes they killed they will also be more appreciated.maybe show the zombies the killed like this: (C=Clot,G = gorefast,B=bloat,H=Husk,S = Siren,Cr = Crawler,St = Stalker,Sc = Scrake and FP means Flesh Pound)

Replacing 'Kills' with 'Damage dealt' is a pretty half-baked idea.

The way the different Perks work, this would be very unbalanced.
Damagedealers like Support Specialist or Demolitions would always be on top.
Classes like Commando or Sharpshooter would be pretty f***d.

An example: A players engages a gorefast on hard.
Support Specialist blasts him with his shotgun and gains 338 damage.
Sharpshooter shoots him in the head with his 9mm and gains 34 damage.
Both players get the job done, but the Sharpshooter gets only 10% of what the Support Specialist gets.
And this is supposed to be an improvement ?

But yeah, player's $$$ should be visible.

Depends if damage dealt can only be a maximum of remaining Zed health.

Think about how much damage Crossbow bolts do when they take off a scrake's head, or how much beheading 7 gorefasts with the handcannon deals.
