Just wanted to drop a quick line about this killer game. I am a diehard R6 fan, from back in the Rogue Spear and Raven Shield days (skipped Vegas entirely based on what I heard about it) and although Siege is a huge departure from those two titles, it is very much R6, although transplated to a multiplayer competitive environment. Although the game lacks a campaign, the competitive multiplayer feels very much "in spirit" to be an R6 title.
Most shooters bore me, the only two that have ever really captured my attention other than R6 being ROOST/DH and OFP/ARMA series -- I am definitely adding this one to the list now as well. It is totally different from either RO or Arma but it brings a delicious slice of tactical gaming that feels fresh and unique. I highly encourage anyone with an interest in tactical shooters to check it out. I'm too lazy to really go into the gameplay in detail, just check out youtube :IS2:.

. They are planning on adding maps/operators over the next year at least (8 operators, 4 new maps I believe). Honestly though the depth of each map is quite huge, given the number of ways you can approach it/destroy it/trap it. Significantly higher depth than say a comparable CS:GO map (roughly same size, on the surface similar 5on5 gameplay).
