XBox 1 exclusive items

So we've come to this huh? Platform exclusive items?
You play on a different platform? *BOOM* You'll never get your hands on the newest items.

It's a good thing at this point that I've lost all faith and almost all interest in this game, otherwise I'd be a whirlwind of anger and sh*t, flailing diarrhea all over this forum with my furious rants about those exclusive items.
Maybe we can get some clarification on how to interpret the limited time mark?

I felt a bit upset about this too. Maybe the limited time means exclusive for a limited time? Either way I probably won't use this stuff anyways. So let them have their little extras. PC Master Race don't need no stinking extras!

Then TWI hinted at a Survivalist perk weapon, I got excited... And. Uh. This.

Anyway, I read that it just means other platforms will get a staggered release compared to the Xbox. It's a typical sales tactic to generate some hype in the platform, no biggie I suppose.

FreezeThrower will be a new weapon. Btw update should be in october for hallowen event, but maybe tripwire release smaller update before that.

I don't understand what the big deal is, it's not like letting the xbox players get a new weapon and skin first means Tripwire is neglecting the pc/ps4 players. If getting something first is so important to you, just think about all the people that have wanted the base game but not been able to buy it due to platform limitations.

My bet is that these items will be exclusive for 2 months. Think we'll get them during the halloween update which likely will happen. Well, maybe during the Xmass one.

Note the * on the image. The content is timed exclusive so that tells me the PC/PS4 players will receive the items at some point.

First of all, where do you take the information from that the next update will be in October?
That's almost 3 months from now and close to 4 months from the last update. That is ridiculously slow.

It's a timed exclusive.... TIMED EXCLUSIVE... do some proper research (or just read...) and done, you'll know that it's not the end of the World.
Besides, you say you barely care for the game at all, yet you come here to cry publicly about this? make your mind up.

Hallowen event in October, christmas event in December. But there can be smaller updates between those events. For summer event we wait almost 3 months.(I think about BIG updates)

Maybe instead halloween event we get update with survivalist rework, new boss and endless mode. Who knows.
