Console Xbox perk class won’t level up after playing for hours

I have been playing killing floor 2 for 4 hours and 20 minutes and have 1 class at level 3 I have tried restarting my internet console. My console is up to date but the game never updates my level please can anyone reply and try help me with this problem as I can't progress through the game as I'm too low level

It's Been happening to me and some friends for roughly a year on and off

I am having the same issue as well as my friend, our accounts on Xbox are "Aesthetic Stud" and "Yogi thebear970". We've hit the same level about 6 times now and even after uninstalling and reinstalling issue persists. We love the game and would love to keep playing

It's been happening for a year for some people I know but it was just the odd game but the problem definitely has gotten worse it's at the point where it doesn't save a single game
