Why the bolting must remain manual!!!!!

BOLTING MUST BE MANUAL: BECAUSE:
when you fire you will reload later and see where the bullet goes - expecially for long range shots and sniper rifles if you reload immediately the scope shakes and you cant see if the bullet hit something or where it hit so ou can correct your aim!
Thats why bolting should remain MANUAL or at least give the option for the player to choose manual or auto bolting reload.

As stated above, you can choose manual bolting or have the game do it for you automatically. TWI has said an accomplished player will be able to manually bolt his rifle faster than if its automatically done, although I'm sure only marginally.

It is still in the game.

As long as the player can choose to manually bolt every time (even in relaxed realism servers) I see no issue.

I do hope that for those that have automatic bolting that it is slightly like Battlefield BC2. In the sense that it will rebolt then when you release your mouse after firing. So with a bolt or sniper you can confirm your kill and then release your mouse button making you bolt.

I can say I like that it's an option, but if there is a slight increase in speed for manual, I mean something somewhat notice worthy, I would love that to death. It would be nice for those first coming into the game, but it would also give someone a slight increase in speed for having to do more work. I love it.

No, I left it as unmentionably obvious that automatic bolting would create the opposite effect. Sorry, I do that a lot.

They aren't going to take out a realistic feature in a game that focuses on realism...especially a feature that was already in the first game that no one complained about...they are going to.have manual bolting as well as a few other manual features like checking your clip... so stop worrying

But you forget that NOT working the bolt after you fire your weapon can provide an advantage to a skilled player.

So in other words, it's not like immediate bolting is always the best way to go. On the contrary, I find lots of situations where I wait to work the bolt after firing.

If people want to "ruin" their immersion and "nerf" themselves by turning auto-bolt on, then let them =). It is superior to have it off unless TWI makes something really strange with RO2 ^^.

It's good to have it as an option, however I hope the auto reload time would be significant longer than manual. So players who use old good classic method get some pros over lazy reloaders

No auto reload, though it might be an option. I see no reason for it not to be an option. Hell even Battlefield 2 let you choose.

Well, you would never get that "click oh ****" moments which was mentioned dearly in the PC GAMER Jan issue.

I dont care if pople want it on or off.... both have advantages. But I will be playing with it off.
