Excellent mentions here. I'll also add player progression, it would be nice to see how you progress from a freshman to a war-beaten soldier. The wide array of mods should bring alot of variety aswell.
In RO2, there's pretty much everything you could ask for.
I like tanking and playing infantry equally so I'm excited for a lot of whats been mentioned but what I look forward to most is teamwork!
I've personally always had a good experience playing RO.
When Ostfront first came out I really liked the way the classes were limited and it seemed to kind of force players to work together. Force is not the best choice of words I guess but it always seemed to work out that way. One could join a random pub and have a good time. Choosing a server was based on fav maps or a good ping. Avoiding a server because of some jack tards or R&G'ers never entered my mind.
It was always a collective effort for the W and I liked that.
I don't like playing against people on my own team. I look forward to actually playing WITH people again.
The mods and easier to shoot automatics, but I'm a rifleman and MG gunner. Just means its going to be more deadly when those SMGs come barreling through
- old good PC gameplay, where skill and tactic does matter
- realism and proper feeling of the weapons
- 64 players multiplayer
- good netcode and game engine optimalization
mainly the cover system, having a clan, countdown, campaign, sounds, models, textures, shadows, skybox, terrain, maps, weapons, vehicles, artillery, recon planes. anything to do with red orchestra heroes of stalingrad.
