PC Weekly challenges: server update lag

Greetings.

For at least three weeks already servers have been falling behind on rolling out proper weekly challenges: names change, effect remain from last week, and I'm talking official Tripwire servers, not just random ones.

Servers always required a full restart to check the date remotely and apply the new proper weekly. This was a bad design issue from the start, the fix is to restart the server after the new weekly date is reached. I guess at some point they will add something to change the weekly properly without requiring manual intervention, but I wouldn't hope too much the issue has been reported multiple times during all these years..
