So, we were on Cu Chi, after taking D and E, it was not possible to mark anything near F, in front of the objective, the objective itself, and even around it or behind. Never happened before.

yes i have the same problem, using the binoculars i can only set a move order for the squad.
(uninstalled the game, then fresh install on another drive, same problem happened)
i now have to use 'F' mostly through the binoculars but that has problems with range and sticking to flags when its close
