The christmas bit was good for a little while. However I do miss the feeling that the old ones gave the game.... personally I would hate being introduced to this game during this event it kinda takes away from its concept its feel is similar to left 4 dead but not the same really in left 4 dead you run around hoping not to run into too much problem before getting to your goal but in this your goal is to take on the problems you try to avoid in left 4 dead. Its a better game in my opinion however an actual story wouldn't be such a bad thing... that might change the feel of the game though.
Who knows maybe they'll surprise us with some better versions of the old ones since they've had a little time to tweak with them.
One thing id really like to see is a variation of bosses instead of the same one every time
