And the very reason he's discrediting psychiatry is because the ****ologist's have their own cure based only on vitmamin B6 & physical training :rolleyes: and also probably a more clever scheme to make (stoopid or desperate) people look into ****ology as a solution for their problems. :mad:

Well to an extent I agree but he makes it look like psychiatry & psychology are two same things while they aren't. Psychiatry is for very mentally disturbed people. See the point? Like when he critizised pyschology to cure depression on a mainstream show (it's in another YouTube vid...).

Well, theses guys are evil and he's prob a tool that believes he's doing good while there's the ****ologist bosses that know how good and clever their scam is...

The guy he was yelling at had been following him around for the last few days, and that clip was taken in a Scientology exhibit, which claimed that psychology was responsible for the holocaust.

Thats a rather hamfisted way of putting it.. and not entirely accurate either.

Incase any of you dont know the what the difference is, its pretty simple:

Psychologists are the "lie on couch and talk about your childhood" kind of affair, they cannot perscribe any medication, and they cannot give you an official diagnosis, as they are not medical doctors, and thouse things require that you have official training in that field.
Psychology is all about studying the human psyche and trying to help people who have problems not related to medical problems, that could be anything as simple as a phobia, to the heavy stuff like people who where sexually abused as kids.

Psychiatrists on the other hand are medical doctors with an upgrade kit, just like Surgeons are doctors with a surgery pack installed, and Gynocologists are doctors with the vagina upgrade, Psychiatrists are doctors who specialize in mind bending meds, and has some basic training in Psychology, there is no lying on couches and talking about mommy here, this is where you go if you have a medical problem that is effecting your mind, be it as simple as a chronic depression, or as advanced as Paranoid Schizophrenia, this is where you get an official diagnosis, and meds that make you all normal like.


The two are complimentary, one handles patients with issues that no amount of meds will cure, the other handles known mental disorders that require medication, so whilst the two certainly work twords the same goal, and a combination of the two are often benificial for some patients, they are certainly not one and the same.

Sounds like it'll be those protests they're talking about. If you look at some of the SomethingAwful threads, there's posters and such that you can print out. A lot of the protests, they're wanting people to wear Guy Fawkes masks, a la V for Vendetta.
