Tank riding (Merged a gazillion times use search FFS!)

Tanks would become more powerfull if tank riding would be implemented. If you as a tankcrewmember drove to some place and suddenly you see an enemy tank not too far away, wouldn't it be great if you some anti tank soldats on the back of your tank so they can start to shoot the tank and flank it. That way you can make all kinds of mixes of anti-infantry tanks, anti-tank tanks.

...and then the defending tank has an actual use for his hull MG gunner! :D

Its something that would be a new feature that frankly no other game so far as I know has done properly. Sufficed to say it was done. Now how to do it. I believe historically some tanks had handles welded onto their hull to allow infantry to hang on. As with anything a tank served as really heavy transport but obviously it offered no real protection and you'd probably want to get the hell off it and hit the dirt because an MG bust could probably rip anyone on the tank apart. Now many have a fear of exploits and such. Best solution is to either not allow weapons to be used (like in other vehicles) until the infantry jump off.

I don't think soldiers would raise their weapons and fire while sitting there anyway, it would be awkward and you would stick out, they would probably hop off and find cover before engaging the enemy. So don't make them even able to fire like the Half-Track back seats.

Correct. In real life, soldiers rode on tanks as support, but at the first sign of trouble would jump off, take up supporting positions from cover and try to help. A handful of infantry sitting on the top of a tank and fighting is just plain ridiculous...just picture the "meat spray" when rounds and shrapnel start hitting and flying off of the armour of the tanks. Those infantry riding up there will be in pieces after the first hit.
