are you saying a katana is modern? or the machete? not to mention the axe .. which has been on earth for about 40 000 years longer than the flail/morning-star.

All the models of weapons in KF are modern though. That's a fairly new Machete and Fire Axe. Katana is purely in because it exists in so much popular culture.
Flails and Morning-stars, in comparison, do not belong in Killing Floor; they are both too old and not "cool" enough in popular fiction.

Show us a clot that can survive for a whole minute at least without a head and maybe somebody will actually believe you. Just because they stumble about for roughly 6 seconds, does not mean they survive their head being swept from their shoulders. And if you think they'll survive a jackhammer going through their chest, what bloody use will a flail be?

jackhammers is not fast nor does it have the ability to break multiple bones at once. *unless you twirl it around*
