PC Steam version of KF2 wont update.

I own the Steam version of the game and was wondering why it wont download the Cyberpunk 2019 update (I still dont have the new guns and perk changes, etc). Am I missing something? Ive tried verifying game files. Anything im missing? Do i have to sign up for the beta or something?

Apologies in advance if this has been answered/resolved somewhere, I did try to find answers to the issue to no avail

To opt into beta, right click Killing Floor 2 in your library, got to properties, then beta tab, and use the drop down tab to select"preview." It looks like this. if it doesn't already show then restart Steam. https://i.imgur.com/D5u7PbP.png
