PC Specific game options reset and cosmetics

Reproducibility: Always

Description: If you start a solo game, go into the map but don't start it (the map load and then you are in the lobby I mean, you can see your character model etc.) and then leave without really starting the match the game will reset thees settings :
+ Everything in the sound option menu.
+ Everything in the game-play menu EXCEPT FOV slider.
+ And the most annoying : all your characters will be reset, you will have to manually redo ALL your cosmetics and weapon skins...

Online/Offline: Offline only.

This is present since the beta (2015).
I believe this single-handedly is the source of most people getting annoyed by settings reset. The other one being when an update is pushed but this one has been fixed not long ago IIRC.


NB : I do not use Steam cloud and never have.

e: some crash would also reset Variable framerate option back to 144 fps while I have unlocked 250 fps.
e2: it does NOT reset weapons skins.

Maybe because you're not using steam cloud this happens?

Do you mean this only happens with solo matches set up or do you mean when you are playing with offline with out a Steam/ internet connection?

Solo but on Steam and with internet connected.

As stated in the OP I don't use Steam cloud, it is globaly disabled since I have Steam (16 years).
