So what are your thoughts about Rae?

oh my lil Rae Rae, gahdang gahdang

oh my lil Rae Rae, gahdang gahdang

YES I like her. I am just pleased that there is actually another flip'n female character.. It took more than a while
>.< Now add 6 more female characters to even the male to female ratio please.

Those rockabilly dresses do have a lot of fabric to them so when chicks actually have an a ss it does look curvaceous, especially when they have tulle underneath..just saying :3
Rae does mention though "people just don't dress up anymore" which helps to tie in her sense of style and she should have no trouble running from zeds in kitten heels. I would like to see a kitten heel lace up boot for her though :) maybe a cosmetic item? Rae Rae is so colourful, it is refreshing to have a bit of colour in the game.

Tbh the wigs really do need a bit more work on them. I have a little story:
When I cranked Kfloor2 last week to try out Ss I had no idea that TW had released a new character. I thought Rae Higgins was a hunched over creature with a yellow hand towel on her head and weird curtain/blanket on her back ahhahahahahhaa.... The person on my team was sporting Rae with yellow dress & wig. It took me a few looks/doubletakes to work out what was going on there :p My reaction was WHAT THE FUQ IS THAT HOBO LOOKING THING IN THE CORNER?.... walks closer. .. .oh it is a new character lolz! Tis' strange what your brain does to explain/decipher what you are looking at if you do not know in advance what something is.

That's all

I think shes a fantastic charecter, being a person who does a lot of swing dancing it was awesome to see a charecter who dresses EXACTLY how many female swing dancers do right down to the headband and the flats.

Is cool to see rock &roll/ swing fashion getting a look in :3 shes not some "50's housewife joke", it is a real fashion trend that thousands of women dress like, and if you bother to read her bio she was at a rockabilly event when **** went down so is entirely fitting.

I mean for christs bloomin sake? Immesion breaker? We have a bloody over enthusiastic larper, a banker who wears a gas mask because reasons and thousands demanding a robot chicken.

And dont belive me its a thing? :p http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=v9xxeWRxSbA exibit A :)

Good to know I'm not the only one who sees how ridiculous the "immersion" complaints are especially considering some of the characters you could play as in the first one like a certain british comedy reference that leaves a trail of "dosh" in his wake.

This...totally. Having only military characters would make the game bland and boring rather quickly. Plus, even though most characters are indeed mercenaries and not simple "survivor" , you might think that not everyone was slaughtered by zeds in such a case... Some civilians might have picked a gun, started to shoot and managed to survive somehow. Not only that but as I've said many times,I think of Killing Floor like some kind of b-movie from the 80s made into a game... And in those kind of movies, most characters aren't really serious (just like in most zombie movies by the way) and it totally fits to have different character. Mind you... My favourite are the ones who shouldn't be effective in combat! (Rae,but also Ana,Scully and Foster). Why? Because they are full of personnality from their very apparence. But also from their dialogue. They might not be "dressed up for combat", but they are cool in their own way. That's why we don't see much Briar/Masterson or Donovan Neal...Because they are simple.

The actress is Peta Johnson. She was stellar.

Thanks for the info! I'll see what else she's done :)

Stellar? hoho, someone has fallen! :p

I really like her voice but really her clothes could change a little bit, feels like she went on a prom indoors and not to some rock concert in an open stadium or some such, give her some jacket at the least. But then again those tattoos on her looks real good. sigh decision...

Speaking of her hands, it irks me that I can see the line of the texture on her hand, she's not a moving doll is she? She's not a synth is she?

Now that I listen to her voice, it clearly is similar to Purna in Dead Island, except more light hearted than cranky Purna...

I also like the voice over, but not much about the appearance.
Still better to have a choice than have nothing.

On other note: She seems to be more bulkier than usual, but that could be because of the color contrasts she has compared to other characters.
