Re-enactment photos

Exactly, converting some surplus 60's APC into an functional mock-up tank is actually quite an achievement. There's a couple of things not right which betrays it as a "not real" conversion, but it's still very well done overall.

@ the Sd.Kfz. 251/10

I suppose that's an OT-810 with mock-up Pak 36?

yea,but the pak fires.

we have a pak 40 which fires as well.

According to reenactors the SS made up 98% of the entire German armed forces. :IS2:

I know I'm a late poster, but I have to say this is hilariously true. I'm fed up with the SS ALWAYS outnumbering us Heer soldaten. I don't know if its just me but MANY (NOT ALL) seem to have the SS attitude too, of "we're the best of the best". I'm going to this event here (http://www.marchonrome.org/) and a unit that portrays the HG division have a converted PZIII ausf J I believe. I talked to a couple of there members and they said they liked playing the original RO... Heck they might be on these forums. Regardless I'll post some pictures and vidoes of this event last year in another post.

As you requested...

No we don't own the Panzer III our guys were just able to ride it... This was an event in Colorado called "Drive on Stalingrad"

Posing for the camera in these pictures

Yes, thats a zf-41 1.5x scope...

Spectator event

And now last year's photos from the March on Rome event... the unit that owns the Panzer III from the Drive on Stalingrad event repainted it for this event...

I'll post some of the videos when I get them.

Those glasses have historical accuracy? not being a troll, just wanna know

oh no worries, I don't think you're being a troll. They are dust glasses to keep sand and crap out of your eyes. I personally think they look retarded, but I think he was wearing them because he wanted to keep the sun out of his eyes... He came down with a bad case of altitude sickness and was feeling like crap.

Here's a better picture of them http://www.ioffer.com/i/100-original-wwii-german-dust-goggles-afrika-korps-147324507?source=eisi
