PS4 What happened?

Not going to lie last year after taxes came I rushed to go get a ps4 because Killing floor was announced earlier at the e3. Have not heard a pip about it. No pre orders no beta talks nothing.

It was one of the main reasons I got a ps4 well that and uncharted. (I prefer console) Did I miss that it got canceled or something? Really thought Ide be playing one of those awesome Christmas themed maps last Christmas...

Anyways just wondering if I missed something. Would love a update.

I think it was assumed that for the PS4 version it would its debut of the full game. At the moment its early access for the pc version on the account of bugs and player response.

There hasnt been any talks about preorders and betas because the game isn't even done yet. Once it is, the PS4 port follows.

I assumed they working on both versions tandum. They kept stressing it wasnt a port but built ground up on console and pc.

That's what I do on the PC.

Yeah, once you get past the thirty minute at max hassle of installing controller drivers correctly, the only advantage the PS4 has is the integrated share functionality, and I'd bet a lot of money that Steam will get that feature in a couple years or sooner.

The engine team cant do stuff they arent trained to do.

It's like asking the janitor at a restaurant to make some top quality food for a taste tester. You just dont do that. Every employee isnt a jack of all trades.
