a theoretical situation that you admit never happened means we need a 30 second timer? while i was playing yesterday a guy joined in and dident get to the trader in time, as commando i had two guns so i dropped him my AK, 30 second timer for him to pick it up would have been bloody annoying.

Still, the basis of what you suggest is good (just dont think 30 second thingy is good)

Hmm where have I seen that... Oh yah MEEEEEEE!!!

I keep wondering why every time I turn my back my crossbow or law vanishes into thin air can I get them back now? I really need them, that fleshpound looks hungry.
BTW, how about the game dropping all of your weapons if you die? At least then if your weapon is stolen you can possibly get it back.
