It looks terrible, if you want them to look like they are covered in oil at least put a mask over the uniform and web gear like the current dirt mask that increases with rank.

I know TWI wants to do something for the North in the spec ops pack, but why not the GOM "Dac Cong" camo, or a sapper hat

I think it just needs toning down a bit, so patches of skin color show through also the effect should be more shiny. Like this:

Also it was the Dac Cong who used to cover themselves in oil and ash when infiltrating bases. They did it naked apart from shorts, so barbed wire wouldn't snag on anything.

Dac Cong were Sappers. The Americans just used the term Sapper as I'm guessing they didn't realise they were actually NVA/ VC Special Forces.
