PC Parrying randomly stops working

Summary: Parrying will not be succesful randomly

Description: Even if you time parries well the parries will not be succesful. It seems to be server specific since parrying doesn't work well for the entire game. Parrying also doesn't seem to work if you're not the one being targeted by a zed.

UPDATE: It also didn't work for some other people and happened again on another server.


EDIT: This might be an issue with parrying being server side. You're at the servers mercy and it's essentially random whether your parries will work or not.

EDIT 2: This might be a bigger issue. If parrying doesn't work it doesn't work for a whole game. Blocking particles and sounds don't appear either but blocking does appear to work.

I've experienced a similar problem, but it's mostly only with scrakes. I sometimes think that it might be my ping, only to realize that it's below 100.

Same here. Not the ping, I've experienced same stuff parrying scrakes few times, and my ping was ~50. And I didn't miss my parry/block. It just didn't work.

Related to this bug report. It's important to note that the player's ability to parry does not return until a server restart or map change.
