I've let the score on the menu play on a few times. It really is bloody brilliant. It's easy to skip it after a few bars but whoever did that did a fantastic job.

I'm no fan of it, and being incapable of disabling the menu song has me now hating that specific piece since I always hear it over... and over...
As was essentially covered in the review you posted, the soundtrack is too faux-classical; that is, it's not classical music nor a modern soundtrack, it's an abomination.

I was indifferent to it (as with all gaming soundtracks) until I discovered you couldn't turn it off in the menu. Now after 100000+ times of hearing the same snippet of the intro music while finding a server (which sometimes takes time) I absolutely loathe it.

It's a good track. Of course the repetative menu music is going to annoy you since you can't turn it off, that's a given but that doesn't mean it's a bad track.
The rest of the in game music I'd enjoy more if it weren't... in game. I like being able to hear the battlefield. The music is fine though, pretty odd at some parts but yeah, opinions opinions.

At least you can turn that part of it off (or just lower volume of it, if that's your fancy).

Yeah its great, whenever im waiting for a slot on one of my favourite servers the music makes it not so bad to wait
