The concept of destructible lights is a nifty idea; however, the mechanic is lacking in the current set of maps. The night vision perk available to some classes is completely useless. Even in the subway of the Paris map, it is still possible to see the zeds when fully dark thanks to some indestructible lights and a slight fog. Biotics lab is also another missed opportunity. For every destructible light, there seems to be an indestructible or unreachable light shining somewhere. Some areas can become dark but, not enough to turn on flashlights or use night vision. The same can be said for the indoor areas on outpost.

Make it happen Tripwire. In the event that too many destructible lights becomes a performance issue, it may be best to trim down the number of lights on each map.
