MG recoil - TW Please read

Be aware that that gun is mounted on a tripod so the vertical recoil is greatly reduced. It's probably much worse with a bipod. Even the uploader wrote this;

What I don't understand is, as you wrote, if the muzzle climb you see in the game is related to an error or to the lack of weigh given by the tripod itself (plus probably other weigh put over it by the soldier, if it could help) A tripod weighs much more than a bipod, for sure, but not that much more to justify so much difference in vertical climbing, especially when you see also the other videos, which never have those wild climbing as it is in the game.

Atm the MG is quite bad in the beta(new map). You barely can use sustained fire . If you fire 2-3 rounds, they go straight in the air.

Thougth the same. Its a joke. Taking the MG is a suicide mission.

I'm not a soldier and even not a shooter. I had the chance to fire just few bursts with the MG42.

If the first one was pathetic, the followed bursts were ok and just didn't made the MG jumping like in-game. It's not really difficult, even a kid can do it. Don't see the point of this weird recoil in RO2.

Don't you think that, if MG were so bad in RL, they would never get to a battlefield and just used on tanks and airplanes or fixed positions?
