Killing Floor Hill Billy Horror Halloween 2012 Patch Released

buzz bow body shot stuns scrakes as zerk, 2 shot head shots them, basically sharpshooter perked crossbow for a berserker, with the addition of a body shot stun for those too sloppy to actually hit headshots.

the scythe bodyshot stuns scrakes, and kills in 3 alt fires to the head, swings as fast or even quicker than the claymore, which takes 5 alt fires to the head to kill a 6 man hoe scrake, and cannot bodyshot stun.

berserker, probably the most OP perk in the game, just got two weapons that make every other zerk weapon obsolete, and they can be carried together.

bodyshot stuns should not be a part of this game, period.

the flare gun 1 shots crawlers, has a quicker reload than the magnum, and a comparable ammo pool, but compared to the zerk weapons is not that bad. the tommy gun, by far the most balanced of the bunch, makes the bullpup, and M4 pretty much obsolete, it has comparable damage to the AK, with nearly 0 recoil and weighs 5 blocks.

they are clearly advantageous over many of the vanilla weapons

stop throwing that quote around, its obvious the devs dont actually play the game very much

Don't try using PR speak as a response to your own arguments

edit: Flooding the page with a quote like that with other unrelated points makes you look silly, spicy. Are you relying your whole view on wilson's post?

How is it "flooding the page?" It's a post a good deal of people might not have seen yet, and it gives good points in the reasoning behind the making of the pack and while it's purchasable DLC.

But most importantly, is the point Wilson makes about the weapon's stats being comparable to other weapons already in the game. The mention of always tweaking the weapons later, as the forum-goers will always ***** about one weapon being horribly overpowered when compared to other weapons.

How are any of those points unrelated?

Don't give me that Amber. You know the vast minority of the player base no-lifes it on Hell on Earth like we do. Sure, all of those weapon properties seemingly affect us more because we have a more in-depth knowledge of game mechanics because we play the game so much. Something that's game-breaking for us isn't necessarily the same for players on the lower difficulties.

As to Tripwire playing their own game, I'd wager that when one of them fires up Killing Floor, it's to have fun. Not to see how one weapon affects a 6-man team that already knows every weapon combo and how the AI behaves in every possible scenario.

uhh, no they can't, a berserker cannot bodyshot stun a scrake from range with any weapon besides the M99, unless the damage nerf they did recently was significant enough to fix that which i doubt. it also wouldn't allow you to carry a melee weapon that can stun, let alone on a bodyshot.

your complete disregard of actual gameplay mechanics due to the lack of "numbers" just exemplifies your inexperience in the matter, and your refusal to accept that you might be wrong. hell have a video even

KF - IJC Zerk Weapons OP - YouTube

also, i am fairly certain that the devs actually *gasp* DONT play the game very often, considering they had no idea that wave 8 was broken until the last summer update after a friend of mine mentioned in a thread how slow and uneventful it was compared to the other later waves. Also Yoshiro's advice to someone who asked how to take a scrake as support specialist on hell on earth was "AA12"...

● hitting an already burning enemy with a fire based weapon no longer resets the culmulative burning damage. This results is more damage over time for fire weapons.

● fixed a bug where crawlers can take burning damage indefinitely
● fixed a crash that could sometimes happen after burning damage
● fixed a case where firebugs would not receive their intended fire resistance.
● fixed a case where firebugs would not receive flame damage experience from husk gun projectile impacts.
thank you.

Hello,

I should mention that some achievements are feasible ..

Is there any chance to unlock seven achievements Haloween 2011?

And that it is normal not to be able to do the following achievements:
- Fugly: Kill one of each Stock zed in one kind of round (HSG Shotgun)
- Finish Him: Hit a Scrake M203 Rifle grenade with the to kill him
- Highlander: Kill a Scrake has Fleshpound, and the Patriarch with the Claymore Sword Within one map
- Burning Irony Kill 15 Husks with the Husk Cannon
- Private Security: Win a Long Game on Suburbia on Hard Difficulty.

When I win the 5 achievements above they do not validate ..

thank you

Thanks for event and dlc, great job.
I see lot of talking about new weapon pack, im glad we can have stuff like this even if it cost a little, it keeps the game intresting, can give example of game rtcw: enemy territory, played since 2003, over 3k hours and didnt got any official map, character, weapon and so on, i think there was 1 bugfix update :)

I think everyone should stop being so ungrateful... there has been 25 weapons released for free since the games release... and you can "choose" to pay for an additional 4. I remember when the first couple of updates with weapons in them; on the steam forum, just about everyone way saying how nice it was to be getting it for free and how they'd pay for it if they had the chance. You now have your chance.

Get over it, and stop being so butthurt.

ive read most of the 2 first pages comments and i agreed on some1 who posted on page 1 saying why cry about a weapon DLC that you need to pay a few bucks for with all that TWI has given us already in all these years...

I instantly bought the DLC's without even knowing the weapons or skin. To support TWI (and hopefully some modders too) was enough reason for me to buy it straight away. I was sure it would be worth the few bucks including what this whole game has cost me all together.

So many games where i payed 40+ euro's for yet none of them are in my top10 most played games. KF is and it is there for a reason... Im glad i could do something back to TWI this way.

If only those other devs would give you money back if you didnt play their game so much, that would be a decent thing (a) :IS2:

Thanks for another update TWI and keep it coming :) <3

Many thanks for the Event. It's amazing. I like the map and cocept with Horzine Factory in the back. New Zeds are stunning, well done Tripwire! But one thing isn't good for me, I don't like Buzsaw Bow, like some people above. This weapon is powerful, what a shame. Berserker is now way overpowered, that's my opinion. I will stay with Lever Action Rifle.
