Keybind for welding

Is there a way to bind a key to the welder? There is no way to manually select it anymore. Pressing and holding E wastes valuable time to switch over while the monsters are closing in. I want to have the welder in my hand, ready to go. I don't even care if I have to go into a config file to fix this. It's super annoying not to be able to do have a keybind for the welder.

In gameplay option there's an option to display welder in the inventory.
