inter-tank communication

Let me first say, what a great game. Thanks devs.

One of the issues I've had was with team communication between tanks. I've found it nearly impossible to direct messages to other tanks. I'm forced to saying something like " T-34 over.. in the field... over by the trees... in the south field... watch out for that Tiger!" and by the time I'm done thinking of how to get their attention they are already dead.

I don't know how it was done in wartime, but I'm assuming there was some way to direct a message to a specific tank? Something like this would really help us work together, not only in our own tanks with our crew, but with other tanks. Maybe giving each tank a unique number?

It was usually like this.

The lead tank had a one-way radio to signal info to the others, and once he got knocked out, it came down to opening up and shouting info at each other.

The Germans already had 2-way-communication which was one aspect that made their technically inferior tanks advance against France despite being outgunned and outmanned. The French had the better tanks at the time, but without radio they lost coordination.

Details on german radio technology in WWII military can be found here (in german language, however the table might be interesting):
