Ultra quality settings, no FSAA, 16X AF forced in Nvidia control panel. Shadows set to "high". 1680x1050 resolution. Using fraps I get a steady 80 FPS with a high of 100 at times. I disabled all mouse smoothing nonsense as well as v-sinc.

My system:

Intel I5 2500K@4GHz
Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz
Asus P8Z68 VPRO
Asus GTX460 running: 800core/1800shader/4000memory (GTX560 speeds)
Asus Xonar DS Sound
Bose 2.1 speakers
22 inch LCD monitor
W7-64bit (SP1)

RO2 runs silky smooth. Never drops below 80 FPS let alone 60 FPS!

Core i5 2500k, 8Gb, HD 6950 OC 1Gb, 1680x1050@60Hz, Win 7 64

Normally capped at 60 (framerate smoothing on, and thats my monitor refresh rate so, more would be a waste)

Can go as low as 30 when looking at wide cluttered areas like the red square in fallen fighters (50 players)

Changing graphical options doesn't seem to have any impact on the framerate.

I use a mix of low and medium ingame settings and I have 30-40 fps.
Even when a server is overloaded, my fps still reads 30-40 but I start warping.
When arty strikes my pc dips to 20-30

Winblows 7 Ultra

Asus M3A78
AMD Phenom (1) X3 8750 BE @ 2.8 GHz
4 GB PC6400 (800MHz) Kingston HyperX
ATI HD 4890 1GB (default settings, 1680 x 1050)
VIA Vinyl HD Audio (VT1708B)

Mostly ultra and high settings with low foliage cause I don't like putting myself at a disadvantage thinking I can hide in some grass but others with low settings don't even see that foliage. So with it low I know what foliage is ALWAYS there regardless of settings.

Anyhow, I get 70-100 fps with a core i5 2500k, 8GB of DDR3 ram, 2 x Radeon HD 5850's but crossfire isn't working so I have it disabled so I'm running only one card with the settings mentioned above and get 70-100 all the time, rarely have I ever seen it below 60fps so I'm happy to be one of the lucky ones that its running well for. Can't wait till crossfire actually works then I can have every setting on ultra with full AA and AF

Hey I think we're having kind of a revelation here, well an obvious one.

All the Core 2 and Core 2 Quad people are suffering, particularly those who don't overclock. The performance and clocks scale evenly and are generally unaffected by what videocard we have as long as it's decent.

Looking over the data so far we can see that a guy running his C2Q at 2.4 GHZ with the same amount of ram, GPU power, and motherboard as me will get about half the FPS I do at 3.4 GHZ.

I don't know if it's physics or what, but SOMETHING is being excessively calculated here and it's not shaders or polygons.

I get EXTREMELY poor performance: Everything ultra, not v-synced, in maps /w 64 players: 15-20 FPS at an avg.

I am not only crossfired, i'm TRIFIRED and this game needs a ping+scaling fix SO bad.

Specs:
AMD Phenom 1075T@3 gHz
16 GB DDR3-1600 dominator ram
GA-990FX-UD7
Sapp HD5970+Gigabyte HD5870SOC
Kingston SSDNOW 64 GB
WD Caviar Green 1TB
Cheiftec 750w 80+

6970crossfire and it really depends on the map.

Apartments map I'm getting 40-50 so I tend to stick to that one.

Maps like Station I'm getting between 20-30.

Tripwire ****ed something up with UE3 because usually that engine runs at 100+ FPS. If people are blaming limitations on the engine then Tripwire should have worked within them. Also maps like Station everyone has 200+ pings so something is linked because Apartments pings are usually low.

Did those performance figures not give you the slightest hint to maybe try some lower settings or just run one card?
