I was talking about the trailer, everyone is talking about the trailer, even you were talking about the trailer, so I don't know the reason for this BS line, other than trying to look like you were above the argument and failing miserably.

Well, it could be read one of two ways.. you are against rooting for a guy killing women in a video game, or, you were contradicting yourself by admitting to playing with elf maidens in bikini armor yet you wouldnt dare touch this game at any age. Either way, bravo!


..and yeah, I'm talking about the game just like everyone else.. notice how the words 'game' and 'franchise' are mentioned no less than 5 times by different people since the trailer was posted.

I don't see any contradiction really. How does liking sexy women means I want to see a guy killing them?

Why are you linking both concepts so much?

And why do you assume that I've played or enjoyed games in which I'm a guy who murders women?

The only one I recall from the top of my head is Half-Life against the black ops, and I absolutely hated that part.

But I guess the whole argument is another attempt to discredit me, because that somehow makes you right... right?

Lightsaber was talking about how people defended the trailer. Well if your focus was so much on the game (which you have not played) then that means the trailer is ok for you? Nah, you were talking about the trailer. If you were talking about the game and not the trailer, you wouldn't be referencing the way women dress in the games I play.

I just see a guy who tries to discredit others due to fear of being wrong. I didn't say anything about you. Only "nope.avi" as disagreement.

Your first response to both posts that disagreed was that your point "somehow" still stands (it doesn't) and your second was trying to discredit me based on what I play, without any provocation other that simple disagreement. So why don't you just stay out of other people's business.

The contradiction is clear.. you call this title/trailer rubbish, you post that you would never like a game like this at any age, yet you play BoobQuest: The Search For A Bigger Sword. Being bothered by seeing women killed in game isnt the contradictory part.. you somehow married the two.

Oh, I never said that. I mentioned that I'm sure you've played and enjoyed games where the killing of women takes place. The list of games in which women are killed is large and I imagine you've played a few of them. Tomb Raider? L4D series? Baldur's Gate? etc. etc.

You see, that's the great thing about personal opinions.. it doesnt really matter what others think of yours. So, you can rest assured there is no 'fear' of being 'wrong' about my own opinion; my opinion being - BoobQuest is just as ridiculous as this newest Hitman looks. Of course you find BQ a lot of fun, so I understand you not seeing the contradiction of your statement.

I started that post out with a compliment, saying I love you guys because you guys are typically more discerning about the games you play, but then I got to thinking and remembered your penchant for BoobQuest, and it was then I edited my post noting the contradiction of nope.avi. I was talking about the game; as was Lightsaber when he said this 'game' must be for 12 year olds, as were the others who mentioned the 'franchise' going into the dumps. When I say your tastes are maturing, I'm not talking about your taste in trailers.. I'm talking about the damn game.

Are you saying that because I like boobquest I have to like this too? Thats a pretty dumb generalization. That is like saying that just because I like porn I have to like gay porn too. Just because you are generalizing within your own head doesn't mean I contradict myself. Maybe only in your narrow mind where everything is somehow the same just because it all shows some skin, if you can't see the differences, is your own fault, not mine, I'm not limited by your own fallacies.

None of those games are comparable to what this trailer shows, because even if you can kill females, doesn't mean they are being specially targeted because of their gender as they are in this trailer.

Just because we have different reasons to hate the same thing doesn't mean I'm contradicting myself, as your reasons are not any more valid than mine. That's a very self centered attitude if you don't think there can be other points of view about it. As much as I disagree with Ostman, reading your responses to him actually makes me want to back him up. I wonder why would that be.

Yes, they are all talking about the trailer. The ****storm began after the trailer was posted, a trailer that has absolutely no gameplay BTW.

Bottomline: Stop making stuff up. You accused me of lying and I'm not. "Don't give me that ****" you said. You are the only one lying when you said they are not talking about the trailer.

I am disgusted by the trailer and I have no reason to lie about it. You are just ashamed because you admitted you would have liked this at 18, and by others denying it, it just put you in a bad light, and yes, you were talking about it.

The contradiction is based on my opinion that boobie elf games are on the same level of ridiculous as this latest Hitman looks to be. Whether I said 18 or 15 the age doesnt matter, that's semantics, the point I was making is that a less discerning gamer, a kid, would find this latest Hitman cool, however, you said it wouldnt be cool to you by posting the nope.avi. As I said before, boobie elf games and this latest Hitman are on the same level of ridiculous to me, so therein lies the contradiction of nope.avi in my eyes. It was simply a snarky comment made to get a chuckle because here is a guy saying this game looks rubbish yet he plays boobie elf games which, again, my opinion, are equally rubbish.

Fed, I paid you a compliment and gave you a little zing all in the same post and you've turned it into a opportunity to twist words around to the point of it not even making sense; that's why I've ignored not only your 'evidence' but your references to Ostmann, accusing you of lying, etc. I swear man, it doesnt get more sensitive or delusional.

It's not like the criticisms of the trailer were unjustified.

As for Lollipop Chainsaw, the difference is that that game is openly over the top and silly. Hitman, at least in my mind, should not fall into the same category.
