Heavy Weapons in RS2

Will RS2 have heavy weapons like 50Cal MG, Dshka 12.7 MG and mortars?​​​​
I am not sure about the mortars wherever they gonna be OP or useless but the High calibre machine gun could be very useful when used in Defensive position to defend from enemy attacks.

Glad to hear so Nothing is better than a rain of bullets flying in the air. And defensive positions makes the grenades even more effective and give them more utility.

Maybe we should talk about the problem that turrets are nearly useless in RO2/RS because the cover system is not reliable and you don't aim with iron sights when you come back from cover. And somehow suppressing the enemy with it is useless and bunkers, turrets etc. are usually a deathtrap.

Emplaced MGs don't use the cover system.


It all depends on where they are put on the map. There's some useful ones and useless ones.

Depends how much cover is in front of the MG. Some have none so why bother crouching behind it.

Yeah its blindfire. Literally only used as a distraction.

Still though. Static MG's. Should all be .50 cal Machine guns. Because that would simply be awesome. M2 Browning and Dshk.
