Guns Of Rising Storm Part 1

Guns of Rising Storm Part 1 - YouTube

During the development of Rising Storm the devs spent a lot of time down at the firing range getting a feel for the handling and properties of the rifles that feature in the game.

In this video you can see the President of Tripwire Interactive, John Gibson, giving us an insight into each of the rifles that players can use.

If you'd like to play these in-game now you can head over to the Steam store page to pre-purchase and get access to the Beta.
Good work guys!.But forget to include the harness in the weapon, this also happens with helmets, could add to the game would make it more realistic. Thanks for having this suggestion into account

Whoa, that is a nice find for a type 38. It has not only the imperial symbol, but the what could the original harness and still has the dust cover. The harness is surprising since it is leather which tends to break apart in hot humid climate(this would happen to the ammo case Japanese solider would have early in the war), but the dust cover is also usually removed by solider as a means to keep noise down.

Personally I have a Type 99 Arisaka manufacture from the Kokura arsenal. The chrysanthemum is etched off so most likely a surrender rifle, but with the dust cover removed perhaps used in combat.

By the way, you can find out what the marking on the rifle mean http://www.radix.net/~bbrown/japanese_markings.html from there.
