Windows OS Version and 32 or 64 bit: - Windows XP Pro sp3 32bit

Exact Processor Model: - Intel Core 2 QUAD CPU Q6600 2,40GHZ

Exact Video Card Model: - NVIDIA GForce GT 9800 (1025 MB)

Amount of Ram: - 2 GB DDR2

Programs running : Steam , Fraps , Panda Internet Security

Average frames on appartaments alone: Ultra 8/15
High 15/23
Medium 22/27
Low 23/28
Lowest 25/30

As you can see the difference between Medium and Low in frames is ridiculous , but the changes in graphics are very perceptible , specially the light ... in Lowest mode the game turns really dark .

I live 10 minutes away from you guys :IS2:
Windows 7 64 bit
i7 920 2.66ghz non overclocked
Gigabyte GTX 560 ti SOC
10 GB of ram
Ok, so on an empty server in apartments, I get around 40 FPS average. But, when scoped in with a sniper rifle, that drops to an unplayable 26.
Software running in background: Obviously steam, skype, msi afterburner, AVG antivirus, and daemon tools.

Finally, I checked and found that my GPU usage in game was 70 percent, which is concerning.

Had my first crash! Yay?...

Playing Apartments. I was not doing anything just standing at the Allied spawn after a re-spawn. Crash happened directly after the count-down ended, so during going into character. My GPU usage did lower to %58 right before the crash.

EDIT: I dunno if the dump file uploaded or not... ?

My system specs are in my sig.

I am getting Max 60 FPS if looking at a wall indoor.
Averaging 35 in apartments with 64 people
Averaging 40 in apartments with 0 people
min overall 19 when changing view from indoor wall to distant open area with players. Then jumps back up to 30-40.

I am getting pretty good system usage though. %70 on all 4 CPU cores. %70-85 with GPU.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit (6.1, Build 7601)
Intel i7 980x @ 4.4
3x EVGA GTX 580s in SLI @ 900/1800/4300
(I think that's right.. lol)
12GB DDR3
Resolution 2560x1600
Drivers: 280.36 (developer drivers)

All options on/ultra, 90 FOV, No frame smoothing, no motion blur (i discovered this gave me bout 10-15fps gain), enhanced post processing.

Empty server was around 75-90 fps average with dips of 57 when coming over bridge from ally spawn.

When there more players I dip into hi 40s. When these "dips" in FPS occur I notice the GPU usage drop to around 40-50%. When the fps are fine and dandy the GPU usage is around 80% give and take a few here and there.

Same thing happens if I lower my settings.. I will gain almost ZERO fps from the MLAA to FXAA LOW. Also no changes when I disable ambient occlusion. No matter what settings the % in GPU usage drops and so do my frame rates.

Now I know these are still absolutely playable FPS but maybe I can help you guys fix it to where it's pegged at 80% or higher and I know it will help more people than just me.

Intensive processes: STEAM, MS security essentials, logitech gaming framework which is at 29k usage and down hill from there... in other words nothing out of the ordinary.

Here is my DX

EDIT: Made a couple more discoveries tonight... when I turn shadows to OFF it runs smoother (duh!) on Apartments but when I went to Fallen Heroes I was getting 33-42FPS??!?!?! now that was weird my GPU% was high 20s and low 30s right there...

Also discovered as I play more that the only dips in FPS are when the GPU usage % drops it also drops my FPS. Also noticing that even though I posted that it sometimes drops in the 40-50% range.. it's actually more accurate to say in the 35-45% range... other than that i'm pretty attached to 80fps and above.

One more thing i'd like to point out. I turned off SLI just to see if the problem (GPU usage % amount) manifested and to my amazement it actually was a solid ~80-90% GPU usage... of course my fps was crap, although it was very consistently 33-35.... never dropped below 33 and once or twice went up to 39... So in conclusion maybe the use of SLI needs some tweaking? idk, I do realize others are having gpu% problems that arent in SLi so maybe I just didn't test enough to find any for myself... ok, good for now, going to back to gaming... i'll report back any changes.

Most UE3 games I've played (at launch) have had performance issues with my ATI cards, not everyone with ATI, but enough for a trend. There usually has been a patch for said games as well as added driver support from ATI's end and things have been good afterwards.

Also I think for feedback purposes people should use not only 'stat fps' but also the 'stat unit' cammand to see exatly how well your hardware performance is.

1 - Grab the latest drivers for your video card - YES
2 - Install the latest build of DirectX 9.0C - YES

Settings - no matter what settings i choose my fps is pretty much 40 fps (about 55 on empty server) average, if going outside it drops dramatically however, inside buildings it works like a charm. This is to be expected due to there be less textures and so on. I have tried both single monitor (1920 x 1080) and eyefinity (6048 x 1080) and there seems to be a very minimal fps drop (about 2-3 if that). I ahve found that lowering the shadow does change the fps a lot

On the map fallen fighters, fps lowers to 30 give or a take a few fps if i look anywhere near the centre of the map.

Also to note only motion blur and the light shafts options are set to ON.

Windows OS Version and 32 or 64 bit: - Windows 7 64 bit
Exact Processor Model: - amd x4 965 3.7ghz
Exact Video Card Model: - Ati XFX 5870 1gb vram
Amount of Ram: - 4 Gigs

Software:

1. Before launching I run gamebooster which closes down back ground services. I have tried the game without this and it does not affect fps.

2. Eset Smart Security (have tried with this off - no change)

Unfortunately dont live near you guys :(

Despite the FPS issues, really loving the game, thankyou very much for your great support as well :D

Core2Duo E5200 OC @ 3.4ghz
POV GTS250 1GB (A rebranded 9800GTX+, slight OC)
2gb ddr2 ram
Windows 7 32 bit sp1

All background programs shut down.

Settings all Medium except AA and shadows which are low. All 5 checkboxes in the custom settings section are unchecked (ambient occlusion, light shafts etc.). FOV 70. Resolution is 1280x720.

Apartments alone: 80 fps indoors, ~50-60 outdoors. 64 players: 30-40 fps.
Fallen Fighters 64 players: Dips down to a steady 20-25 fps outdoors in locations with a view over the battlefield. Not really playable for me.

If performance could be improved for fallen fighters/64 players that would be great.

edit: updated some things.

I have installed new direct x and Graphics Drivers.

Settings:

All Medium- 55 fps empty server

If I go outside fps drops to about 40 while inside is almost 60+

All Ultra (apart from shadows) - 40 fps empty server

THE ABOVE SETTINGS HAD MOTION BLUR AND LIGHT RAYS ON.

Please note I have eyefinity and have tried both the game with one monitor and triple screens - there seems to be very little fps difference between the two (~2 fps)

On the map Fallen Fighters fps drops considerably when looking at the centre of the map

Exact Processor Model: - Amd x4 965 3.7ghz
Exact Video Card Model: - Ati XFX radeon HD 5870 1gb vram
Amount of Ram: - 4 Gigs

In terms of software, I run gamebooster before starting the game (no fps difference) and also I have eset smart security (tried both off and on- no difference)

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9550 Overclocked to 3.8GHz
8.00 Gb of RAM
GTX 470 Overclocked

My main issue is that it seems as if the game isn't using half my gpu's power. My gpu usage sits around 50%. I've had as low as 30% and as high as 65%. This is with ultra and high settings. My framerate varies from 25 to 65, but it's usually around 35-40fps. I've followed all of the advice given.

Tripwire FTW

Tripwire FTW

Are you an AMD Crossfire user? If so, we believe there is a problem occurring here and we have reached out to AMD on the issue. For now we recommend disabling crossfire to play RO 2.

I'm running 2 overclocked 6970s in xfire on ultra settings, and I get around 60-65fps fairly solid. I thought that might be kinda low for these cards, but as usual, seems like you guys are already on top of it :) Although, the only reason I would want it to be a lot higher would be for sudden fps drops, but really the game seems stable to me. Wait, why am I here? I don't have time for this... my new favorite game calls... ;)

Hello everyone! Today I wanted to participate in this thread to try to solve performance problems of Red Orchestra2

My pc specs:

OS:Windows 7 64bit

Vga:Asus eah5770, approximate memory 2806mb, dx11 (not overclocked, vga setting in default)

Cpu: Amd Phenom II x6 1090t (3,2ghz) (not overclocked)

Ram: 4gb ddr3

Programs used in backgrounds: Steam, Avast anti virus, msi afterburner.

fps in game:
Ultra: 50 max 23 min (noAA)
High: 55max 26min (no AA)
Low: 55max 28/32min (no AA)
As you can see, even with UE3 i can't exceed 60 fps :D

My specs.

My specs.

Windows OS Version: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64 Bit

Exact Processor Model: AMD Athlon II X4 640 @3.0GHz

Exact Video Card Model: ATi Radeon HD5770XFX 1Gb GDDR5

Amount of Ram: 4 Gigs at 1600Mhz

Programs Running: Avast! Free Antivirus, Xfire, Steam, Winamp(Playing music), ATi Catalyst Control Centre (Monitoring GPU Activity) and my HD Audio Deck.

I have tried playing with Avast! turned off, Xfire off, Winamp off and CCC closed but I still get identical FPS.

My average FPS in Apartments when just flying around in spectator is ~48. I don't know how to run around with a gun on my own I never seem to spawn in an empty server so I have only been able to fly around. I flew around on the Offical TWI UK #9 server I believe.

Here are some Steam screenshots showing the king of FPS I am getting while doing different things. I am playing on the "High" Preset with motion blur, one frame thread lag and Frame Smoothing turned OFF and I'm at 1440x900. My 19" monitor doesn't support any resolutions higher than that.

One thing I noticed when playing was that my GPU never goes above 40% activity and that it is normally at ~35% activity even when I'm getting bad FPS it wont raise the activity at all. My friend with Crossfire 5870 had performance issues in crossfire mode with two 5870's so he went to single card mode and had the same issue I'm having where his card sits at ~35% activity. Also friend with Nvidia cards are having theirs sit at ~60% regardless of the FPS they are getting.

I hope this has helped! :IS2:

Edit: Forgot the DXDiag, oops. Editing it in :)
