[Error] Delayed kill messages

I get this literally all the time after the recent patch. Everytime I kill someone it takes about 10 seconds to show the kill message and confirm I've killed a guy. Normally this would not be more of an annoyance than an actual problem but I've started to experience problems when in large firefights. Example: I'd shoot a guy and he'd fall to the ground, however no kill message is showing up so I don't know if he died or if he's just taking cover, I think maybe I should shoot a few more times just to make sure but oh wait - I'm dead.

Anyone else been experiencing this and is there a workaround?

I think this is by design, servers can decide whether to show kill reports instantly, after a delay, or not at all. Not a bug as far as I know.

Depends on realism mode, as well as if they died instantly, or took their time slowly bleeding to death.

Lol, it's a part of the game, I think its relaxed realism. Everyones kill gets delayed by about 10 seconds, it's designed that way.

Some servers running some sort of ultra realism don't run kill confirms at all.

Ah okay thanks, was afraid this was a bug as I only experienced it after the update.

1.Depends on Servers Realism setting.
2.i think in countdown its 7 seconds
3. Its how the game was made
