I've never shot a garand but 30-06 kicks pretty bad

americans will mostly be attacking well entrenched germans, so they will need it methinks!

Maybe not, looking back through this thread the allies will have the VC Firefly, M-10 Wolverine TD as well as the M-26 Pershing on latter maps, should make for some "interesting" armor engagements imho

I dunno, I always play as a rifleman and have never found the semi-auto users to be uber in any way, except in CQC, where I concede the advantage.

going back to the semi auto debate what wud u rather we gave the americans...i mean if we gave them mostly springfields that wud be grossly inaccurate historically and also everyone else wud complain...the Allies load out for both brits and americans (and canadians etc) will be as close as it was to the real thing, i.e. majority of US troops with semis complimented with SMG and LMGs etc.

well should be generally balence by the defensive position the germans have already fortified in most places kinda equals it out sounds like the ro world cup tactics for the germans vs brute force for the americas
