[Crash] Constant crashing when first starting game(sp&mp)

Tried turning all settings to low, compatability mode, all that malarkay.
As soon as i join a multiplayer server, pick my class and spawn, it crashes... normally straight away, sometimes within 10 seconds or so. Same goes for singleplayer.


Tried uploading my dump file, wont work? dunno what you guys want me to do in terms of .dmp

I'd like to add that after the crash it's the .exe has stopped responding bs..

If you are running 32bit version of windows, there was an update yesterday that is causing some 32bit machines to crash. An update should be out soon to fix that problem.

The patch went out yesterday evening. Are you still crashing?

i have a similar issue. when i first launch the game i can play fine for about 20 minutes or so, then it crashes. but when i try to restart the game and play on, i last literally 1 minute or less on the server, then it crashes again. tried 6 times in a row, got 6 crashes in a row.

occured since the last patch, or the patch before (3 days or so)

Can confirm so far that the performance is more stable and i'm not crashing out.

Just my luck, spoke to soon.

Crashed out - froze after about 25-30 minutes of gameplay.

That dmp file didn't have enough information to tell me what's going on. If this is related to the following http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=71738, a fix for that should be going out in the next patch.

So, let's check back after the next patch. What are your system specs btw?
