And on the topic - you know, it still cracks me up that there are actually higher education facilities where they teach people how to make games... I can't remember when I heard the concept for the first time, but it hasn't become any less amusing. Makes perfect sense when I think about it, but man is that sorta out-of-the-box education.

I suppose Nestor's advice was quite sound. This does look like an honours-earned-in-the-field type of thing, so any practical experience you can add to your portfolio is the way to go.
