Regarding tank-crew spawning...will players spawn into tanks that are already out on the battlefield? If this is to be the case I'll cancel my pre-purchase right now. I can think of no better way to ruin tanking for dedicated crews.

The problem arises if players randomly spawn into a tank and start doing their own thing (driving off for instance).

What happens if you 3 man in a 3 man tank. One gets killed. He can not join your tank and takes another tank -> team is broken up
Or should the tank drive to a resupply point to get a new member ?

When you choose to be a tank cmdr you have the option to lock the tank and prevent randoms from getting in.
I'm intending to play one-life gamemodes though, so I'm not sure what happens to a killed tanker when he respawns

not much of a tanker + have TOTAL faith in twi..still, these are my 2 cents:
if i'm lucky enough to kill a crew member (especially with an AT rifle) i've done a good job of somewhat crippling that tank..then, a few seconds later, spawn a new crew member? uhm.. there has to be a better way imo

The solution we've had to use in Darkest Hour when a crew-member has been killed (a good solution) is the respawned guy drives back out to the tank in a Hanomag or Kubel.

Sorry man, what i mean was, why cant people just answer the question of the topic, people make threads asking questions and they never get answered, thats often why we have 20 of the same thread cause people just change the subject or try and redirect you elsewhere, i wish people simply answered the main question of the thread or didnt post at all, whats the point cruising the forums wasting peoples time...

Ok, that looks like you can either lock out all players or allow all players? If I want to crew with one person but not allow other players in I'm guessing that lock-out is no use at all.

You just have to wait for all the randoms to pick a role and then ninja-unlock it for your friends.
