Change AK-12, or add modern version as DLC

In the game we have old version of AK-12 (prototype from 2013):

I want suggest to change model to modern version:

Or how i said in title, add this as DLC weapon, with real fire modes - single round, two round, auto.

Maybe with another red dot sight (EOTech for example), and with slightly better accuracy.

That is will be not so easy. Because need change all skins for new model as well.

Ugh, true.
Didn't think of that.
But then if dlc route.... it would make more sense to add AK-15 than 12, because AK-15 uses 7.62x39 rounds vs AK-12's 5.45x39.

Also could be an AK-15K, a shorter barrel version of AK-15.

But i'd rather have it as a free gun than another hrg weapon.

Meh... It's nitpicking really.


We know the game is not pinpoint accurate in term of real-life weaponry. On one hand we use katanas, zweihanders and crossbows. Then on the other we got freezethrowers, microwave guns and six-barreled rocket launchers with heat-seeking capabilities.

Are you really gonna complain about an out-of-date gun? Even more so when the prototype was probably the only thing available back when they first conceived the gun?

At that point, I suppose you'd have to update a good chunk of the arsenal.

You're always free to create your own mod for the weapon though.
