Can't equip/unequip weapon skins w/o loosing them

Hi! I've encountered a strange bug before. I've purchased some weapon skins from the steam market and tried to equip them after.

So, whenever i'm trying to equip a new or unequip my old skins by the main menus inventory screen, it rather opens the same window as if i would unlock an USB Stick with a key but disassembles my skin into some kind of crafting material after. This crafting material has no icon and also can't be used in any way but telling me i would not possess the right key or crate if i click on the use button in the material's window.

The skin i've tried to equip/unequip has vanished after!! I've lost some skins and of course some money that way and would really appreciate if it would be possible to get some eyes on this problem. Ty in advance...

If you recycled an item, please contact support with your steam id and what item you lost. Once you we verify you have the material item we will replace the lost item.

Except trying to create a support ticket through Tripwire results in dotDefender preventing it to go through.

Long time KF1 and KF2 fan, but am getting frustrated with the amount of hoops I am having to go through to retrieve lost items as a result of your bug.

It is absolutely shameful that one of your developers is on Steam forums blaming the consumer for "accidentally recycling" an item. I clicked EQUIP, not recycle. I have scoured the game and have yet to find a recycle button.

As I said, long time fan, and am not the type to complain, have never complained about the game mechanics at any point (berserker was lvl 22 BEFORE you made the changes). My level of disgust at the process for submit a ticket is beyond description however.

Ok. i've tried again and it worked now! No more dotDefender pop-up.
