Level Design Brushes not aligning

I decided to start work on one of my maps again, however when I create a new brush the red skeleton of the brush is slightly out of alignment but when I add or subtract it is perfectly normal.

It's just making it incredibly hard to place brushes.

select a pivot point on the brush, then un-snap to grid and RE-snap it. move the red brush around it should realign

I always click right mouse button on the brush corner when it happens.

Push comes to shove, you can:

turn off snap to grid, select a pivot point, zoom all the way in, then move the tool back on the grid. Then go ahead and click away from the brush to de-select it and then turn on the Snap to grid.

The reason why you de-select the brush 1st is because sometimes it will snap back to the un-aligned position.

This is still happening, I tried the suggestions above and they worked...for a while. Whenever I create another brush or resize a brush they just go all wonky again.

can you reset the pivot (rmb -> reset ->)

Or just hit the create brush button a couple of times. After the third or so it should snap to the grid again. First one just places the brush, second one usually snaps the pivot to the grid again and with the third click the whole brush usually follows. Either that or it happens a click or two behind.

Just go nuts on the button.

I reset pivot, which did nothing. I also pressing the build brush a lot of times and it still persisted. The strange thing is if I add or subtract brushes the bsp appears fine and aligned, but on the wire mesh view of the added or subtracted bsp it shows up wonkey like the brush

Reset All.
If that doesn't help, open the properties of the Builder Brush, go to Display and set PrePivot to 0, 0, 0, DrawScale to 0, 3dDrawScale to 0, 0, 0, and Movement -> Rotation to 0, 0, 0.
