I was watching someone play it when I saw this thread.
Definitely looks beta-y.
Doesn't look bad exactly but it still seems pretty BF4 ish to me.

I kinda like it more for the fact I don't get trollopped by tanks and attack-heli's constantly. Guns seem to kill quick (and the being killed feels instantaneous >.>). Performance-wise, runs the same as BF4 does, and I haven't actually found that many bugs, which is surprising for a new BF title.

Yea, I'm kind of on the fence on this one. I like certain aspects of it, although the class and customisation menus leave a lot to be desired.

And after the BF4 launch..well the less said about that the better.

While I like the absence of too many vehicles, it kinda makes me sad. I had a shameful soft spot for the gamey tank gameplay of BF3/4.
There are some neat new things. But overall it just doesn't fit for me. You can't really take cops n robbers and do a full on firefight thing with it.
I mean, it's not that cops n robbers never have firefights, but the image of a cop on a rooftop shouting
"Put your hands behind your head!"
Then firing an RPG-7 into a crowd of 'suspects'. . .
well,
It's separated far further from reality than any other BF game to date.
And frankly it's kindof disturbing imo.

Agreed, and since when do police helicopters have mini guns attached to them?

Well I dunno about police choppers, but the Police department in my home town has an M2 Bradley.
So I guess they can juss requisition stuff.

Here in England the police have spud guns.. and course language!
