Also, I'd like to add, this evening when i checked steams cpu usage it was at 70% and using 700meg of ram, it seems to be an issue with steam and it can happen if you have pending downloads in your library.
As someone who leaves steam on 24/7 i didn't think to check, so i finished all my downloads and removed the ones i didn't really want.. Blops...shh, and ta daa instant performance increase
