*when fighting an enemy with a bolt action rifle, your semi automatic rifle has a huge advantage, wait for him to fire, then take aim at his position while he cycles his bolt, when he pops back up again to fire, you shoot him dead
*Remember that bolt action rifles carry 5 rounds, when pinned by an enemy soldier armed with a bolt action, count the number of shots he takes, once you hear the 5th, either fire back, or make your escape as he reloads.
*always spot for the enemy flamethrower operator first, taking him out will spare you and your team much heartache later.
*As a rifleman, your job is to provide suppressing fire for the assault team to safely flank and kill the enemy
*when using a rifle, remember that it is a poor weapon for room clearing jobs, leave this up to Carbines, and automatic short range weapons. You can help them by using grenades before they breach a building however.
*When using a bolt action rifle, you must know your weapons limits, when the enemy has semi automatic rifles, you re at a great disadvantage, make sure to keep as much distance as possible between you and them, and pick them off at distance
*The M1 Garand's clip ejects after the last shot is fired, making a destinctive pinging noise, if you encounter an enemy armed with an M1 in close quarters, and you survive the previous 7 shots, you can listen for this sound, once you hear it, you can either fire back, and or make your escape as he reloads
*Caution: attempting to rush an enemy in close range after you hear the sound his M1 Garand's clip makes can often be fatal, as the enemy usually operates in groups, and his buddies will gun you down as you rush him.
*The Americans sometimes will make a false pinging sound in close combat situations to try to fool you into rushing him, only to shoot or bayonet you, do not fall for any M1 Garand clip sounds you hear.
*As a squad leader, its your duty to keep your men constantly attacking or defending, make sure to frequently repeat your orders of defense or attack, once an objective is captured or taken, immedietly order to assault or fall back to the next objective to keep the battle flowing
*Squad Leaders and commanders have binoculars to call in artillary or mortars, use them to maximum effect by putting an artillary mark on the objective the enemy is defending, or the route an enemy is attacking to keep them at bay.
