A more balanced Maikop that works would be nice, rather than its current state which ALWAYS ends up being a fight for the bridge. Always will, always has :(
Maikop is balanced. nd is one of the best maps out there.

I just feel that there should NOT be direct ports from maps even though I won't be able to stop that from happening. I get the feeling that that would totally bring down the retail game. I mean, any selfrespective custom mapper would make his maps look way better on the new engine right?

Or won't the custom mappers be able to control themselves and just shamelessly convert them over? :S

The more maps the better as far as I'm concerned and porting an old favourite gives you the opportunity to change the things you always wanted to change in that map - having said that, with all the new content you will probably want to build a new map from scratch

/me silently hopes we'll see some converted Lruce Bee UT2k4 maps.
